Puppet Show & Workshop Feedback

Kia Ora Christine, I just wanted to email you to let you know how awesome your puppet show was, you managed to keep all of the tamariki engaged and they all had a great time. I didnt get to personally see some of it as my little girl was in the class and I did not want to disrupt her but the feedback from the adults/ teachers was that the children thoroughly enjoyed it, and so did they. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and I know that I will be recommending you to others and I have already told my General Manager that she needs to book you for our other 2 centres next year. Nga mihi nui Cherie Whaanga Centre Manager - Waimahia - Early Discoveries Centre - Dec, 2020

We had Christine of Hands Alive Puppet Show perform for our Swanson RSA Children’s Christmas 2020 function for approx. 60 children aged from babies to 8 years. "The kids really enjoyed the puppet show! It kept their attention the whole time and we just loved the looks on the children’s faces - they were fascinated and interactive! Thank you for a job well done!" Some of the things we really appreciated about Christine was her punctuality and her clear communication and awareness to timelines. Christine is a pleasant lady and very easy to work with. We would not hesitate to book Hands Alive Puppetry again and would recommend Christie’s show for any children’s function - Dec, 2020

Hi Everyone, We hosted Christine Fuller and her wonderful Hands Alive Puppet Show and puppet workshop, over the Christmas school holidays. Christine has such a passion for puppets and can make puppets out of just about anything. We had 150 people at the puppet show and 40 children (with about 20 parents observing), attend the puppet workshop, where they learned about, and played with lots of different types of puppets. I can whole heartedly recommend Christine and we are planning to have her back for some puppet making workshops in the October school holidays. The 30 minute show was only $250 and the workshops were $100 each. I’m sure there will be other libraries who have also enjoyed Christine’s shows and workshops. They are certainly very good value- so much so that I said she should increase her prices. - Christine - Senior Children’s and Youth Librarian - Auckland Libraries - Feb, 2020

Hi Christine, it was a nice show! I received many great feedbacks from the parents. Thank you for your great job today - Birthday Party at "Our Place Educare Botany Mall" - May 2019

Hello Christine! Thank you so much for working with our Stanhope children. They absolutely loved it and it has sparked such an interest in puppets that the children are not waiting for the design project - they are busily making puppets at home every evening. You were everything (and more) that we hoped you would be! All I could think of is how exhausted you must have been on Friday afternoon. I am very pleased we could provide you with our Friday morning tea to give you some sustenance. Thank you for being amazing, wonderful, fantastic and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!- (Sharri - Organiser - Stanhope Road School - March 14th and 16th, 2018 - 7 Show/Workshop Sessions!)

Fantastic show at Panmure Library. It was lively and engaging and so great to see kids of all ages responding and participating. We received lots of good feedback from our staff and families. Your skill is amazing, thank you! - (Pranita - Senior Librarian - Panmure Library Facebook Post - January, 2018)

Oh Christine we loved having you in school and have been singing your praises to other classes doing the same topic this term :) Thank you so much for being flexible and changing your usual workshop to suit our needs. My class were able to talk about the different puppets you showed them and what materials you used to make them! Without promting, they kept their rubbish from lunchtime so we could make junk puppets!! That was not part of my plan but I have to go with it now!! Thank you so much. (Adele - Sommerville Special School - Panmure - October, 2017)

Thank you again for the wonderful Puppet Show! We have had so much great feedback, and everyone had a real good time :) (Kelly - Porse - August, 2017)

Thank you so much again for the amazing work that you put up today!! Everyone loved it. Cheers - (Prabhjot - Hand and Hand Childcare - April, 2017)

Thank you for visiting us today. The show was a hit! The children were telling me how funny they thought it was. Hopefully we will see you again in the future. (Anna - Pinehurst School - Albany - April, 2017)

The puppet show and workshop was a valuable tool for the students to grasp what a show looks like and what kind of puppets you can create. They enjoyed being able to touch and feel all the different puppets and were inspired to get started creating their own. Thank you to Christine for being highly energetic and giving her time to all three classes. We loved it! (Danielle Savage - Drama Teacher\Year 12 Dean\TIC Junior Drama Rangitoto College - Feb, 2017)

Thanks a tonne for the amazing performance! I'm really glad you guys could be a part of our event! Christine, in addition to your splendid performance, I would really like to thank you for being so approachable, friendly, and flexible right from our event planning stages. No doubt one of the easiest vendors to organise an event with! (Rishika - Datacom - Dec. 3rd, 2016)
